February 8, 2010If your job is such unending, grinding tedium that you only tolerate it for someone else’s approval — someone who despises you and makes no secret of it — if you can’t do anything right and hear about it nonstop, and afterwards you’re still expected to sit down and pretend to enjoy The Vampire Diaries, then a Dodge Charger will not save you. If you hate your life and you endure it for reasons you barely understand, then buying a new car is not a “last stand,” it is a $30,000 fig leaf, and you are a sucker.
